SHPP Osanica 4, situated in Goražde canton, is completely finished and is running in full capacity. Project was lead by company "Eco Energy" ltd. Tuzla in cooperation with foreign partner company "Elatec Vertriebs" GmbH, Haar, Germany. SHPP Osanica 4 has following characteristics:

• Gross head - 109,20 m
• Net head - 107,98 m
• Installed capacity - Q=700 l/s

For this SHPP we have adopted a solution with one Pelton turbine, output of 652 kW and with two nozzles, coupled with synchronous generator with 800 kVA output. SHPP Osanica 4 is foreseen for parallel operation with electrical grid as well as for isolated operating regime. Beside generator panels, panels for selfconsumption, uninterrupted supplying and protection panels there is a medium voltage switchgear 12/24 kV placed in a machine house foreseen for operation with electrical grid 10(20) kV and also a lapping transformer 800 kVA, 10(20) kV.

Characteristic of this project is the construction of derivation channel with purpose to carry out the water from intake to surge tank and from surge tank to the machine house with pressure pipes. So far in Bosnia and Herzegovina the practice has been to construct the pressure pipe lines whole way from intake to the machine house. Detailed view can be seen on area map.
